Teenagers! Grrrrrr.....
This is John making banana bread.
He is smiling in this picture, but don't let it fool you...
He's not happy about it.

Here's our conversation...

John:"This is so dumb." Me: "You'll thank me later. In fact, one day after I'm dead and
gone, you'll think of me whenever you see banana bread."
John: "Why do you always ask me to make the banana bread?"
Me: "Because you are good at it."
John: "Mikey and Greggy never had to do this."
Me: "Because I had too many babies around to be able to take the time
to teach them important things like this."
John: "You are the only mom I know that makes their sons
do stuff like this."
Me: "Good. I guess I'm the winner then."
John: "I hate this."
Me: "Oh well."

Teenagers are so fun.
Believe me, it would have been much easier
to make the banana bread myself.

I think that you are AWESOME!! His wife is going to LOVE you for this. Tell him that you are not the only mom that makes her boys bake things. I make Ryan bake/cook things too. :) Plus, when he starts dating girls are totally going to think he is cool.

'Neen,
You just keep doing what you are doing. This is another great example of why you are truly a 'SUPERMOM!' Even in moments of 'disagreements,' you are helping your boys to become extraordinary young men. I bet Johnny's bread turned out great!
Love to all~

haha thats awesome! Johnny I (brandon) took a year of cooking classes in high school and it paid off. Also, if get called out of country on your mission you can make banana bread and all the locals you make if for will love it! I made it a ton in the mission and alot of the argentines I made it for had never had or heard of it.
