This boy is safely home!!!
Well, not "home" home, but he arrived at his base in
North Carolina this morning! He says it feels weird to be
back and see everything so green! He's looking forward to
sitting down at a restaurant and eating. He'll be here
for his 15-day leave on November 8th.

Hey Aunt Janeen! I did go on the date night but I went alone because I couldn't find a date. But I have a Barn Dance on November 1st. My goal now is to ask a guy out or get set up for the barn dance. Will Mike be at thanksgiving in California? Or does he have to go back to base before that? If he does I will send you grandma's video to you guys so he can see it before he leaves again. I really want to see that boy.
Safe and sound on American ground! I am ever so thankful for his safe return. Grampa would be too. He was so proud of him, as am I. It will be wonderful to see him next month. I'm sure he's changed since i saw him last. Not my little Mikey anymore, is he.
Prayers are certainly answered! We are thrilled to have Mike on his way home to Mesa and to all of you. We do hope he will be with you when the family gathers for Thanksgiving. Please let us know when he is back in your arms! Our love to everyone!! Jenna and Roy
