Fun with Sammy!Yesterday Sammy brought home
this cute little Christmas matching card game.
He loves to play it, and is quite good, too!
(I love our one-on-one time together while everyone
else is at school. I'm gonna miss this little guy when he
goes off to school all day. I know, I've still got a couple of
years left, but it makes me sad just thinking about it.)

Tradition #3...Baking Treats. Thanks, Mom, for the new Christmas plate.
I love it!
I made candy cane sugar cookies today,
and they look so pretty on my new plate.
Thank you!

Holiday Concert
Jake is playing the viola in MacArthur's
orchestra. We went to his first concert
last week. I was so proud of him, because he
has been so painfully shy his whole life, and I
thought it was so great that he could get up
there in front of everyone without batting
an eye! His sweet, little delicate hands are
perfect for playing a string instrument.

Tradition #2...Gingerbread Houses!!!

This is one of the boys most favorite things
we do every year (of course it is, they are
sugar heads!) This year Greg invited his
friend Jessi Rau to join us. It was fun to
have a girl in the mix. Hers was so done so pretty
and neat. It's so funny to me how different
boys and girls really are!

Tradition #1The first Monday in December we decorate
(Scott and the big boys do the outdoor lights and me
and the little boys start on the inside stuff.)
We play Christmas music and have hot chocolate,
cookies, and candy canes.
The stockings are hung...And the traditions have begun!
