Soccer Time!

Today Matty had his first soccor game.

He is loving it.

He even says he likes it

better than playing

basketball & baseball!!!

Imagine that.

(And it is still way too hot to be sitting at those games...Ugh!)

Big, hungry teenage boys!!! Today Greg brought some of his

basketball team buddies home for lunch.

He asked if they could all come over

because everyone was feeling broke.

(As privileged seniors, they now get to

leave campus for lunch, and they think they

need to eat out every day.)

Today Scott finally got Sammy to go #2 in the potty! He's been working and working with him (he's much more patient than me.) He bribed him, again, with some candy, and he finally did it! Scott instructed us all to come look, jump up and down, and give him (Sammy, not Scott!) the appropriate praise. So we did just that. After changing diapers for 20+ years, we are done. Thanks, sweetie. You are awesome! (He wanted me to take a picture, but I drew the line there.)

Countdown!!!We got an e-mail (finally!) from Mike today.

He'll be home on November 15th!

I miss this boy!

Tree House Fun!!! Scott built this tree house when Mike and Greg

were little, and all the boys have loved playing in it. Today

Matt and his little friends, Ronan and Luke, had some

tree-house fun.

Sammy loves to play in it, too. However, he gets sad

that I won't let him climb the top branches. (In the above picture

he's pointing up and saying, " uppa dere, uppa dere!")
