Mountain View Prom...2008.
Greg and Brooke Lebaron.

Greg says that Brooke was the funnest date, and he is always telling me how beautiful he thinks she is! He's smitten, for sure!

Greg's going to prom. I'll be leaving soon to take pictures with his date and group.
I love when little boys do sweet things like this...Matty gathered up all of his stuffed puppies and bears, set up a little bed, and tucked them all in nice and warm. It's such a nice change from the usual wrestling and sword fighting.

What the media won't tell you...(An excerpt from a recent e-mail by Mike)
"While on a foot patrol, we walked by a school and all the kids came running out and asked us questions and asked for candy and money. They knew a little bit of english, so it was cool to talk to them. They love having us here. They don't want us to leave. They feel safe when we are here and want us to finish what we started, because if we just leave them, then the terrorists will take right over again. It's honestly a life-changing experience being here around these people. I consider myself lucky, because this is exactly why I joined the Marine Corps - to do things like this."

Tim went on his first overnight campout. He was really excited about it. Seems like yesterday I was sending Mike on his first overnighter.

Growing up....

Matty walked Sammy to the Fullers to play with Sam's friend, Brody. He was excited, but I was sad. I want him to stay little longer.

Matty loves to make his own peanut butter sandwich. And he's really good at it. He even makes one for whoever else wants one! I really should have encouraged the others to do this at such a young age. His wife is going to love me!

Silly sleepers! This is how I found Sammy and Matty in my bed yesterday...Matt is oblivious to it, I guess.
Easter 2008 Reacap...

Jake, Matt, and Sam dyeing the eggs. This is a favorite tradition!

Sammy before church with his Easter Basket.
Matt and the Easter Bunny. Sam was terrified of this huge thing. He buried his head in my lap and wouldn't go near it!
